USASF Appoints A New
State Director for New Jersey
The
U.S. All-Star Federation’s Northeast Regional Director Robin Norko has
appointed Michael Drulis, of the Cheer Academy All-Stars/All-Star
Training Academy, as the new State Director for New Jersey. The mission
of the U.S. All Star Federation is to maximize the number of
participants benefiting from the positive life experiences of all star
cheerleading and dance by developing competition rules and all star gym
training guidelines consistent with the latest best known safety,
educational, and ethical practices.
>Picking up from the successes of
his predecessor Cynthia Feierstein, Drulis is charged with expanding the
training and safety component of All-Star Cheerleading through promoting
the credentialing and safety procedures for gyms, coaches and athletes
as set forth by the USASF.
A seasoned
All-Star coach with more than 10 years of experience in Stunts, Baskets,
Tumbling etc., Drulis
believes that the safety and progressions in which the
USASF standards provide has brought successes to his own teams and the
All-Star industry as a whole. Drulis believes that to have an impact,
you must serve the community you are in. He is an active member of the
NACCC and the USASF and participates in a larger group that sets the
rules for All-Stars nationally.
“It is my goal to offer three coaches
credentialing/re-credentialing sessions prior to Worlds. One in each
geographic region of New Jersey,” exclaimed Drulis, “it is my hope that
convenience and accessibility will yield the best turn out possible.”
