David Kirschner

With over ten years of high school, collegiate and all star cheerleading experience, David Kirschner has coached and trained national and world champion cheerleaders across the country. He currently owns The Spirit Consultants, LLC; a full-service spirit consulting group providing help and guidance to high school and college teams throughout the nation. From stunt clinics and choreography to program development and spirit integration, Mr. Kirschner focuses on the individual needs of each squad with an emphasis on safety, teambuilding and goal achievement. David is originally from East Brunswick, New Jersey and currently resides in Los Angeles, California. He is both AACCA and USASF safety certified.

The Spirit Consultants

The Spirit Consultants are dedicated to the safe improvement and growth of high school spirit programs throughout the country. With a recent surge in the popularity of all-star cheerleading, there has been a drop in interest and correct training at the high school level. The Spirit Consultants are a network of credentialed cheerleading professionals focused on increasing the level of training and preparedness of high school cheerleading through one-on-one custom program development, safe skills training and expert industry knowledge.

Integrating all aspects of the high school spirit program is essential to developing a strong and cohesive presence on the sidelines, in the school and in the community. When all areas of the spirit program are brought together (including the cheerleading squad, marching band, color guard and dance team), the school achieves far greater results. This combined effort will result in a better program, healthier competition and a positive environment for student athletes to learn and support one another.

Founded in 2005 by David Kirschner, The Spirit Consultants began with the idea that every high school spirit advisor or coach should have access to a credentialed professional that can offer advice to train their athletes, build their program and create a positive winning environment. David is both AACCA and USASF Levels 1-5 credentialed; a former five year veteran head instructor for the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA); and has coached high school teams in NY, NJ, PA and CA. He spent four years cheering for Syracuse University. Along with running The Spirit Consultants, David currently coaches multiple high school squads in the Los Angeles area, as well as a couple all-star teams.
